Whilst being a hit in terms of texture, the soufflé pancakes did carry a slight hint of egginess pretty reasonable considering how the pancakes are being made from egg white and sugar. Having the soufflé pancakes with the chantilly cream, the chantilly cream helps to add a light hint of sweetness, whilst carrying the same light and airy texture that the soufflé pancakes carry the Honey Butter carried a different dimension of sweetness to the soufflé pancakes however, and the butter further providing yet a flavoural contrast with a slight hint of saltishness that may seem rather quirky at first, but would gel well with those who love things with a sweet-savoury flavour combination. Considering the price of the item set at S$8.80, the Classic Souffle Pancakes would work as a great pocket-friendly deal to solve those raging cravings for souffle pancakes. We also went for the Mango Passionfruit Souffle Pancakes the item coming with elements such as Passionfruit Compote, Honey Mango, Coconut Sago, and Chantilly Cream. Coming with the very same soufflé pancakes that came with the Classic Souffle Pancakes, the texture and flavours of the soufflé pancakes remained relatively similar the only difference coming from the toppings that came along with it. Being an item that seemingly draws reference to Thai Mango Sticky Rice, the Coconut Sago seems to have replicated the flavour of coconut milk, carrying a rich, coconut-y aroma with a slight chew from the sago, which seemed to replicate the textures of the sticky glutinous rice for Thai Mango Sticky Rice. The Honey Mango served on the side came with a balanced sweetness, while the passionfruit compote helps to cut through the richness of the soufflé pancakes and the coconut sago with its zippy notes that gave a zing. Overall, a pretty respectable rendition of souffle pancake that makes use of fusion elements for a twist. Going for the White for our choice of coffee here, the White here comes at a pretty generous serving size for the price. Priced at only $5.00 for the hot variant (S$6.00 for the cold variant), the White comes in a 12oz cup double the size of what other cafes/coffeehouses would be serving for the same price.
